VIEW BOOK DETAILSTwo Distinct Streams. One Overlap.
The Acts Overlap Theology Series examines the Book of Acts through the distinction between God's Prophecy Program for Israel and His Mystery Program for the Body of Christ. Beginning with Paul's calling in Acts 9, the two programs operate concurrently through Acts 28—distinct in audience, message, and divine purpose, yet unfolding side-by-side within the same historical period.
The series develops the doctrinal framework, interpretive method, and biblical architecture necessary for recognizing this overlap and understanding its significance for the right division of Scripture.
The blue Mystery stream begins at Acts 9; it does not emerge from the Prophecy stream. Both programs then operate concurrently through Acts 28.

The Acts Overlap is the period from Acts 9 through Acts 28 during which God's Prophecy Program for Israel and His Mystery Program for the Body of Christ operate concurrently. Israel's prophetic program remains active during this period while the Mystery Program, revealed through Paul, is simultaneously being made known.
At Acts 28, Israel's Prophecy Program reaches its suspension point, while the Mystery Program continues toward the fullness of the Gentiles.
